Accomodation
Our Home In The Hills
-Wilderness Lodge-
After a day's hunting, we retreat to our comfortable, purpose-built lodge/ hunting camp - on most occasions, you will have the camp to yourself.
Our lodge, by New Zealand standards, is seen as been very remote. Nestled into the native bush, we literally have wild game on our doorstep.
At night, deer regularly walk around and browse right in camp. During the roar, stags often come into camp and roar at the generator which makes for great entertainment.
An hours 4x4 driving from the nearest residential dwelling and with views looking out to the Pacific Ocean, it is a very easy place to relax and feel like you are away from the world.
Fully carpeted floors, comfortable beds, warm fires, wifi, yes wifi, and great cuisine make for a welcome retreat from the rigours of a day’s hunting.
The lodge consists of 2 bunk rooms each with 5 beds. Guests will have the lodge to themselves as staff have their own cabins.
We provide all of the meals and with 7 miles of private coastline, crayfish and abalone (If you can catch them) often supplement venison and wild pork on the menu. Classic kiwi meals usually washed down by a wine or a beer, we guarantee you will be well looked after.

For those who prefer to stay out in the bush we have also have the option of camping out. We can spend days in the bush and love backpacking and camping. We have quality tents and camping gear but you will need to bring along a sleeping bag and bed roll for these hunts.
-South Island Hunts-
Accomodation during South Island Tahr and Chamois adventures will be a mixture of hotels when in transit and cabins or tent camps whilst hunting. These will all be organised by us depending on the individual hunt and will not include any extra fees for the hunter.
"Blow hard lodge" the well known Hunting camp at Te Awaiti, since the late 1980's hunts have been outfitted from this location.
Hunting isn't just our sport its our life.Young and enthusiastic but with experience beyond their years, meet the team.
